Katy Konrad is from Somerset, & has spent the last seventeen years living in the North West. Katy has been writing since childhood. Her first published poem was ‘Fragments’ In The Red in 2003, which is in The Poetry Library in London.
Since 2009 she has had over 20 further poems published. Katy featured as an emerging poet and 3 poems published in Social-i, & had poems in exhibitions at The Grosvenor Museum.
A runner up in Dead Good Poets Liverpool’s Most Romantic Poet slam in 2010, she appeared on Vintage Radio in 2011. She performs in the North & South West and is a regular at Chester Poets.
She has read at Liver Bards at The Ship and Mitre in Liverpool in 2012 & 2013.
Her book review for dakota.me.uk, featured in 2012 on More4’s TV Book Club. Katy performed at the Callander Poetry Festival in Scotland in 2012 & 2015.
In November 2014 she performed in Chester in ‘The Quiet Compere’ as part of an event in ten cities in the North, one of ten Chester Poets chosen to represent the city. She performed at Wrexham Carnival of Words in 2015.
